Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department.
New graduates are welcome to apply and may be eligible for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus, relocation assistance and enrollment in the 6‑month Nurse Residency Program.
- Location:
Hampton, VA - Shift: First (Days) 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 scheduled hours
- Primary duties: assessment and admission of patients, rounding, medication administration, patient and family communication, overall patient care, teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.
- Virginia or Compact Multi‑State RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for ED nurses
- RN‑Associate’s Degree
- RN‑Bachelor’s Degree
- RN‑Diploma
- RN‑Master’s Degree

The hospital’s Emergency Department, featuring 43 beds and 11 fast‑track beds, provides board‑certified physicians and advanced cardiac and pediatric life‑support–trained nurses.
