Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit.
The RN unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, the coordinator leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service.
Position Available- Full time, 36 hours per week
- Night Shift
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree
- RN-Master’s Degree
- Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN license in good standing.
- ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experienced RN
- 18 months nursing experience required. BSN required;
Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required.
