Registered Nurse; RN - Cardiopulmonary Rehab; Part Time
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for Cardiac Rehab at Sentara Care Plex Hospital in Hampton, VA. This is a part time, Monday-Friday, day shift position.
$7,500 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!
Hours- Monday - Friday: must be available to work three/8-hour shifts between 6:45am and 4:30pm
- No weekends - No call - No major holidays!
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
- Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma (Required)
- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
- RN licensure (Required)
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- Inpatient and/or cardiac experience (Strongly Preferred)
