Your Day as a Licensed Practical NurseAs a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in our Adult Comprehensive Outpatient Services program. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team—licensed therapists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners—you will assist the staff psychiatrist in medication management, conduct health assessments, and provide essential nursing support to our clients. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the well‑being of individuals living with mental health challenges, from severe conditions to daily stressors.

What You Need To Be SuccessfulTo qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Virginia State Board of Nursing
- One (1) year of experience in medication administration in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long‑term care facility, including dispensing of narcotic medication.
In addition, candidates should excel at conducting health assessments, managing medication, and providing supportive counseling. Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are also essential.
