Registered Nurse — Hampton, Virginia

Pay From: $34.00 per hour

• Experienced Registered Nurse (2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse)
• Active and in good standing Registered Nurse licensure in Virginia
• BiTE therapy experience (Bispecific T-cell Engager)
• BCLS certification

• Administers bispecific therapies and manages treatment schedules
• Assesses patients for toxicities, such as CRS and neurological symptoms (ICANS), particularly during initial doses
• Educates patients and caregivers on treatment plans, potential side effects, and when to seek emergency care
• Collaborates closely with physicians, urgent care teams, and nursing staff to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Collaborates with oncologists to coordinate care, including identifying hospitals for emergency care if needed
• Provides ongoing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintains detailed records, including tracking Adverse Events (AEs) and following Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies
• Monitors and promotes adherence to treatment plans and therapy protocols
• Develops and initiates patient treatment schedules and assessment tools
• Applies critical thinking skills to anticipate patient needs and deliver proactive care based on established BiTE therapy guidelines
