Overview

Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (ED). The role offers a generous sign‑on bonus up to $15K, specialty unit pay, relocation assistance, and opportunities for new graduates through residency, education assistance, and loan repayment.

Work Shift:

First (Days) – 36 scheduled hours per week.

• Virginia or Compact Multi‑State RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required as part of the ED nursing staff.

• RN‑Associate’s Degree, RN‑Bachelor’s Degree, RN‑Diploma, or RN‑Master’s Degree.

• Assess and admit patients to the ED.
• Conduct charting and rounding checks.
• Administer medications and document effectively.
• Communicate with patients’ families and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
