Relocation Assistance Available for qualified candidates and positions. Sentara Careplex Hospital has hired a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Inpatient Surgical Unit. The RN unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, the RN leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.
The role increases staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service (Gold Standard).

Work ShiftThird (Nights)
Schedule- Full time, 36 hours per week
- Night shift
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree
- RN-Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN license in good standing
- ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one year of hire
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experience RN, at least 18 months of nursing experience
- BSN required;
Master’s degree preferred (if not nursing, BSN still required)
