OverviewSentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Unit.
This position’s primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

License and Certification- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate’s Degree
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree
- RN-Diploma
- RN-Master’s Degree
This is a 24-bed unit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit.
We provide care for respiratory compromised patients on BiPAP, high-flow and/or chronic long-term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, pneumonia, and much more.
