This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients.

We are a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing exceptional care for Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology patients.

Services on the unit include chemotherapy/biotherapy drug administration (Certification required after 6 months of hire), Pre/Post-Surgical Care, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Sickle Cell Management.

Providing direct patient care and collaborating with the care team; assessments, medication administration, and family communication; ensuring adherence to unit protocols and quality care standards.

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
• Education:
  
  RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
