Position Overview

Sentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit located in Hampton, VA. The position offers a $15,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates, with a bonus for new graduates.

Shift: Weekend Nights (Premium Shift Differential)
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This 24‑bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit cares for patients on telemetry monitoring who require advanced cardiac evaluation and interventions, such as cardiac cath, transfer for cardiac surgery, or diagnostic testing like stress tests or echocardiograms.

• Assess and admit patients.
• Conduct rounding checks.
• Administer medications.
• Communicate with family members.
• Provide overall patient care and collaborate with the care team.

• Virginia or Compact Multistate license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an RN program (Associate, Bachelor, Diploma, or Master’s).
