Licensed Practical Nurse-Patriots Colony-Part Time Nights

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia

Pay: $28.90 - $39.78 hourly

Sign‑on bonus: $4,000

Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the development, maintenance, or modification of nursing plan of care. Provides for the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families.

Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.

• Medicate residents and administer treatments accurately and in accordance with provider orders.
• Allow residents to make choices within safety and dignity limits, following facility policies and procedures on privacy and dignity.
• Assign duties to non‑professional staff such as CNAs based on education, training, policy and resident needs to ensure quality resident care.
• Engage team members for optimal performance and address performance issues as needed.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and modification of individual service plans.
• Identify changes in condition and document them properly according to nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrate consistent follow‑through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilize good judgment and specialized skills to support resident care.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) license, required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification from an accredited organization (AHA/ARC) required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred nursing experience.
