** Sentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Intensive Care Unit. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operations.

** is responsible and accountable for the daily operations. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.  
** License and Certification
*** Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire  
** Education
* ** RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
* RN-Master’s Degree

* Experience:

**** Management - 1 year
**** Nursing Acute Care/Critical Care - 3 years*
* * RN position, i.e. Unit Coordinator, Team Lead, or other like position may be accepted in lieu of 1 year formal management experience. Meets any 2 years experience in a support leadership RN position, i.e. Unit Coordinator, Team Lead, or other like position may be accepted in lieu of 1 year formal management experience.

** The Sentara Care Plex Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical ICU with eICU monitoring. Our patient population includes COPD, CHF, R/O MI, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, pancreatitis, renal failure, liver failure, multiple organ failures with or without sepsis, and surgical populations, with vascular and ENT surgeries being the most common.  Nursing All, Talroo-Nursing, Nursing-Critical Care, Talroo-Leadership, Nursing-Medical-Surgical, Nursing-Other, #Indeed, Step-down-other, #LI-TD1, RN Supervisor, #Careplex, Management, Leadership, Hospital, Hampton.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Note:

If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
