Virginia Tech's Hampton Roads Agricultural Research and Extension Center is seeking a field-lab assistant to support faculty, staff and graduate students with strawberry and blackberry trials.
Duties include marking plots, bed making, transplanting, mowing, pruning, setting row covers, harvesting berries, and collecting plant health and fruit data in the field and lab.
Data entry in MS Excel and adherence to safety checks are required; the university does not sponsor work visas for this vacancy.
