Overview

LPR International is seeking Dining Facility Attendants to support a contract at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. Dining Facility Attendants shall perform work at the Crossbow Dining Facility and/or the Raptor Café Expanded Flight Kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Serving and replenishing food; performing cashier services; cleaning dining facilities (including dining rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms); cleaning tables in dining areas; handling food, supplies, and equipment; and maintaining quality control.
  • Special Requirements: In special and emergency situations, including mobilization and surge requirements, the Contractor shall perform additional tasks in the event of contingency, emergencies, or special events such as cooking; baking; serving and replenishing food; preparing vegetables and fruits for the salad bar to ensure continued service and line coverage.
  • Dusting shelves and cleaning floors in Subsistence and Material Handling Rooms, including cold storage and dry storage areas.
  • Preparing foods on surfaces that have been cleaned, rinsed, sanitized, and dried, where the Contractor is responsible for the preparation.
  • Storing food not subject to further washing or cooking before serving in a manner that protects it against cross-contamination.
  • Preparing raw fruits and vegetables for Pure Bar/Salad Bar according to Air Force recipes and assisting with setup and breakdown of salad bars.
  • Raptor Café Only - Service of Food: The Contractor shall be responsible for the service of food at the Raptor Café Monday–Friday, and during Unit Training Assemblies (UTA) weekends. The contractor shall also provide food preparation service (cook support) for all menus to meet the performance requirements below:
    • Prepare and serve food in standard portions in accordance with the United States Air Force Food Service Menu serving standards, unless the patron requests smaller portions.
    • Move full serving containers to serving lines, perform cross-panning procedures, and maintain proper temperatures on serving lines.
    • Set up and close down serving lines in accordance with the Food Service Production Schedule.
    • Set up serving lines and salad bars 15–30 minutes before the start of the meal period.
    • Cut and portion pastry items, prepare dessert displays, and replenish desserts as needed throughout the meal period.
    • Raptor Café Grab and Go: prepare boxes and containers, assemble sandwiches/raps, and pack all menu meal components for pickup using commercial carryout boxes/bags and containers provided by the contractor.
    • Prepare flight/ground meals such as sandwich meals, snack meals, frozen meals, and bite-size meals.
  • Table Service:
    Clean and sanitize dining room tables, chairs, or benches to ensure availability for customers; replenish table items (napkins, salt, pepper, condiments, etc.).
  • Beverage Bar and Dessert Display:
    Prepare coffee and beverages according to standard recipes and replenish beverages; prepare dessert displays and replenish desserts as needed.
  • Cashier Service:
    Perform cashier duties for each meal period while maintaining a flow rate of guests that aligns with serving line flow rates specified in the contract.
  • Sanitation Requirements:
    Comply with all federal and Air Force sanitation requirements, including AFI 48-116 (Food Safety) Program and TB MED 530. Do not use steel wool for cleaning.
  • Housekeeping Services:
    Clean areas that affect customer service and the dining facility appearance, including floors, chairs, lavatories, kitchenware, stainless steel/brass, food holding boxes, refrigeration equipment, freezers, and related tasks.
  • Facility Cleaning:
    Clean the area around the Crossbow Dining Facility (B140) and the Raptor Café (B759); sweep and clean entrances, exits, sidewalks, and around the building; ensure the area is free of litter and debris.
  • Entrances, Exits, and Sidewalks:
    Ensure all entrances, exits, and sidewalks are free of snow and ice during meal periods; apply ice melt as provided by the government.
