Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the overall environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensures that all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

• Work with commitment and pride to deliver GOLD-Grand opening look daily, stock all items and execute promotional plans, maintain visible accurate signage, and keep the store clean and organized inside and out.
• Provide assistance to Members in the produce department: answer questions, recommend products, provide safe handling tips, and aid in locating products.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery and ensure products meet or exceed company standards.
• Rotate produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety, keep displays neat and remove unsuitable products.
• Maintain the produce reserve stock area, date and rotate all back stock items, and keep storage organized and condensed daily.
• Follow established guidelines when disposing of damaged, spoiled, or expired products.
• Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed.
• Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, fixtures, and the produce cooler and refrigerated display cases.
• Generate signage for produce goods and perform price checks; ensure all items are accurately priced and signed.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.
