As a Brand Sales Specialist for the Storage Portfolio, you will apply your sales and product expertise to close business for IBM, often in conjunction with Business Partners. You will develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings to drive sales growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop Winning Sales Strategies:
Develop a deep understanding of competition and create effective sales strategies to win client business, leveraging IBM's Storage set of offerings to meet client requirements. - Match Solutions to Client Needs:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and match IBM solutions to those requirements, driving sales of IBM offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners. - Maintain Expertise:
Continuously develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM Storage offerings, staying up‑to‑date on product features and capabilities. - Drive Sales Growth:
Apply sales expertise to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, working closely with Business Partners to drive sales growth for IBM. - Deliver Client‑Facing Solutions:
Work directly with clients to deliver IBM Storage solutions, ensuring seamless integration and effective solution delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise- Deep Expertise in Storage Solutions:
Experience with IBM Storage set of offerings, including in‑depth knowledge of product features and capabilities to develop winning sales strategies. - Proven Sales Expertise:
Certification in sales methodologies and experience with direct sales to clients or through business partners, driving sales growth and revenue. - Competition Analysis:
Experience with analyzing competition and developing effective sales strategies to win client business, leveraging IBM's Storage offerings. - Solution Matching:
Experience with collaborating with clients to understand their needs and match IBM solutions to those requirements, driving sales of IBM offerings. - Strategic Sales Planning:
Experience with developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive sales growth, working closely with Business Partners and leveraging IBM's Storage portfolio.
- Advanced Sales Methodologies:
Deep understanding of sales methodologies, including certification in sales techniques and experience with direct sales to clients or through business partners. - In‑Depth Competitive Analysis:
Experience analyzing competition and developing effective sales strategies to win client business, leveraging IBM's Storage offerings and staying up‑to‑date on market trends. - Strategic Partnership Development:
Experience working closely with Business Partners to drive sales growth, leveraging IBM's Storage portfolio and developing mutually beneficial partnerships.
