Job Title

Membership Growth Consultant (MGC)

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new patient leads and memberships by nurturing relationships with seniors, community partners, and senior-focused businesses.
  • Conduct one‑on‑one meetings with seniors in homes, workplaces, senior centers, and other community settings to present the Chen Med value proposition.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute local community events (information tables, health fairs, talks, etc.) to reach medically underserved, Medicare‑eligible seniors aged 55 and older.
  • Build and maintain relationships with health plan agents, insurance agents, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, and other community providers to keep Chen Med as the preferred primary‑care provider.
  • Partner with local businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives that drive new patient growth.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, manage referral relationships, and handle immediate customer requests.
  • Manage vendors for event planning and negotiate contracts with venues.
  • Use marketing and sales tools, including Salesforce, to identify and pursue new customers and document all interactions.
  • Provide monthly activity calendars, penetration plans, and new tabletop venue opportunities.
  • Recover dormant customers through targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver presentations to large audiences and develop distribution channels supporting enrollment growth.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to improve engagement effectiveness with distributors, vendors, and community partners.
  • Build trust, maintain customer relationships, and address complaints as required.
Essential Skills & Abilities
  • High business acumen and strong organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with negotiation, probing, closing skills, and objection handling.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and build long‑term relationships.
  • Positive, persuasive, and motivated sales orientation.
  • Typing speed of several words per minute and fluency in English; bilingual a plus.
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 75%.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of successful sales experience, preferably with seniors and/or Medicare‑advantage knowledge.
  • Minimum two (2) years of business‑to‑business / vendor relationship experience preferred.
  • Experience with telesales and data entry into a CRM system.
Pay Range

Salary: $38,509 – $55,013 (base). Compensation may include bonuses or commissions based on experience, education, and geographic location.
