** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
+ Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and vendors while following site procedures for sign-in, badge checks, and delivery activity.
+ Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or incidents that may require follow-up.

* Minimum Requirements:
*
* + CPR certification is preferred.
+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
