DescriptionTeam Fishel is hiring Cable Placement Crew Leaders for underground construction projects in the Hampton, VA area. The Placement Crew Leader will assist the foreman by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.
Starting pay $24+ per hour, dependent upon applicable experience and certifications.
Responsibilities- Ensures accuracy of daily field reports
- Develops work‑around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
- Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
- Ensures safety practices are observed during their work
- Reports to Foreman
- Ability to effectively lead a 3‑person placement crew
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a mini excavator
