As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of shipboard electrical systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Your role involves troubleshooting and assisting ships' force with minor repairs and adjustments. You will utilize multi-meters, clamp meters, circuit tracers, meggers, and other tools to conduct ship-checks per NAVSEA drawings and technical manuals.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on shipboard electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and assist ships' force with minor repairs and adjustments.
- Utilize tools such as multi-meters, clamp meters, circuit tracers, and meggers.
- Conduct ship-checks using NAVSEA drawings and technical manuals.
- Support trades team by working on active class surface ships for fleet modernization.
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment.
- Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on shipboard systems and related equipment/software.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to resolve issues promptly.
- Experience as an Electrician Mate.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to install and pull cables and wires.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lead and provide direction to others.
- Experience in performing quality inspections.
- Capability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Comprehensive understanding of production and processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
