- Responsibilities:
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment;
Read and follow printed work instructions and electrical schematics;
Record data manually or by computer as required;
Use Lockout-Tagout procedures to ensure zero energy state;
Install conduit and field wiring for all electrical systems;
Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment;
Connect cables and wires between machines and subsystem equipment;
Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and replace damaged wiring and cables;
Test machinery and collaborate with maintenance personnel to identify root causes;
Use electrical testing devices (amp meters, voltmeters, megger, thermal scanners, cable testers);
Replace faulty electrical components (relays, switches, motors, sensing devices);
Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components (printed circuit boards);
Replace electric motors, check rotation, measure amperage;
Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings;
Diagnose and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components;
Comply with attendance policies and overtime as required;
Perform other duties within scope as assigned by supervision
