We're seeking experienced Brush and Roll Painters to join our team. If you're safety-minded, dependable, and experienced applying marine or industrial coatings using brushes and rollers, we'd like to hear from you.

As a Marine Painter – Brush and Roll Painter, you'll apply specified coating systems using hand brushes and paint rollers, perform coating touch-ups and stripe coating, and complete surface preparation and cleaning duties in support of marine and industrial projects.

• Apply specified coating systems using hand brushes and paint rollers.
• Apply and touch up coatings applied by spray painters.
• Apply stripe coats using brushes and rollers.
• Apply full coating systems by brush and roller in small, tight, confined, or hard-to-spray areas.
• Perform hand-tool cleaning and power-tool surface preparation using small handheld pneumatic or electric tools.
• Perform cleaning duties including solvent wiping, industrial vacuuming, and pressure washing.
• Prepare surfaces and work areas in accordance with project specifications and coating requirements.
• Follow all job-specific work instructions, safety procedures, and supervisor directions.
• Understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification, and hazard signs at jobsites.
• Maintain tools and equipment and report damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and on schedule.

This position requires work in demanding marine and industrial environments. Candidates must be able to:

• Work in confined spaces.
• Work at elevated heights of 50 feet or more.
• Work aboard maritime vessels and in industrial facilities.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas.
• Be respirator fit tested and trained in respiratory safety in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, fall protection, and protective clothing.
• Perform physically demanding work for extended periods in varying weather and environmental conditions.

• Minimum six (6) months of experience as a brush and roll painter.
• Experience applying marine or industrial coatings using brushes and rollers.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, and other surface preparation equipment.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal directions given by a supervisor.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, dependability, and teamwork.
