Duties
* You will provide clinical treatment/intervention for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltreatment.
* You will serve as a community liaison to ensure an effective coordinated community response to allegations of child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse including situations with high-risk for bodily harm or lethal violence within the family.
* You will provide direct services for the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) including conducting clinical case assessment (e.g., safety/lethality).
* You will conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals and identify the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms.
* You will oversee comprehensive clinical needs assessments to design, execute, and monitor highly specialized treatment plans for both victims and offenders of family maltreatment.
* You will provide strategic clinical consultation to installation leadership, medical professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams to guide clinical needs assessments and coordinate systemic military community responses. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 10% of the time away from the regular duty station to attend or provide training, conduct FFSP certification visits, or deliver services aboard ships.
* This position requires regular contact with children under the age of 18 and a favorable determination of suitability to do some and periodic re-verification check of multiple agency records.
* The incumbent must meet Tier II qualification requirements described in SECNAVINST 1754.8, "Credentials Review and Clinical Privileging of Clinical Providers with Depart of the Navy Family Readiness Program".
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid State driver's license. Qualifications This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: CLINICAL COUNSELOR (0101), PSYCHOLOGIST (0180), SOCIAL WORKER (0185). In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Directing and coordinating the work of professional employees to include assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements, and the employee's capabilities, and privileging status;
2) Providing supervision concerning evaluation, risk assessment, intervention, treatment, and case management for a wide range of client needs;
3) Maintaining comprehensive, expert-level command of FAP statutory requirements, policy directives, and compliance regulations;
