Software Developer
Location:
Chantilly, Fairfax County, VA
- Develop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications
- Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Implement desktop design, testing, security lockdown, and integration with standard software packages
- Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies
- Assist in development of software user manuals
- Document applications, services, and environments for future maintenance
- Automate application and configuration deployments and updates
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Support the multi‑enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Solid understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environments
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
- Will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience OR an Associate degree with 8 years of experience OR a High School diploma with 11 years of experience
- Proficiency with:
- One or more programming languages/frameworks:
Java, .NET (C#), Python - Frontend development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, Bootstrap)
- Relational Databases and SQL (MySQL, Postgre
SQL, Microsoft SQL) - REST APIs using technologies such as ASP.NET Core, Flask, Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot
- Git and other source control management systems
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
- Debugging and problem‑solving techniques
- One or more programming languages/frameworks:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with:
- Data processing, automation and ETL workflow orchestration
- GraphQL
- Server side technologies (Apache Tomcat)
- Log analytics and observability platforms, particularly Splunk
- SAFe Agile methodologies
- Working in classified environments
