A1 Shipping LLC is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) of Amazon that seeks enthusiastic and team-oriented individuals to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent companies that collaborate with Amazon to make deliveries.

As a Delivery Driver, you will have the opportunity to work independently, stay active during your shift, and make a positive difference in your community.

We are currently hiring full-time delivery drivers in Hampton, Virginia.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

Shifts are approximately from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

You can expect to work 4 days a week, between 8 and 10 hours per day. You are required to work at least 1 day off during the weekend per workweek.

As part of your responsibilities:

• Load trucks and deliver packages safely and on time.
• Drive, climb in and out of the vehicle, and walk up and down vehicle stairs during the shift.
• Work in different weather conditions.
• Strictly comply with all safety regulations, both on and off the road.
• Use an electronic device for GPS and daily logs.
• Maintain a positive, proactive, and focused attitude to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Requirements for Delivery Drivers

We provide free on-the-job training so that all our employees are prepared and feel safe on the road and when making deliveries to our customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and its Delivery Service Partners.

Candidates must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver’s license. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required.
• Have a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Be able to drive and maneuver a delivery truck weighing 10,000 pounds or less. You do not need to provide your own vehicle.
• Be able to lift boxes up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Be able to read and speak English for safety reasons.
