Schedule: Thursday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, some Saturdays
About the RoleBanister CDJR Of Hampton is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Parts Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. You'll be responsible for delivering automotive parts to local dealerships, repair shops, and body shops in a timely and professional manner — a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in dependable service.
What You'll Do- Pick up and deliver automotive parts to customers, shops, and dealerships on assigned routes
- Load and unload parts safely, checking orders for accuracy before and after delivery
- Obtain signatures and maintain accurate delivery records/logs
- Communicate with dispatch or the parts department regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
- Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, tires, fluids) before each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to/from work (if not driving a company vehicle to start/end shift)
- Ability to lift-up to 25 lbs.
- Strong sense of direction / comfortable using GPS navigation
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- Prior delivery or automotive parts experience a plus, but not required
- Friendly, team-oriented work environment
