Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, receiving, and materials handling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry to mid-level role plays a vital part in ensuring materials move accurately and efficiently through various stages—including receiving, storage, kiting, and shipping. The position requires physical stamina, organizational discipline, and a proactive attitude. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Associate helps maintain organized, labeled, and production-ready warehouse spaces across multiple facilities.

This role offers opportunities to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in operations and inventory management.

Responsibilities
  • Unload and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, documenting and reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Record and photograph the condition of materials upon receipt; move items to designated storage areas, label, organize, and segregate materials per facility standards.
  • Support staging, labeling, and kitting of materials to fulfill just-in-time production requirements, following provided kit lists and instructions.
  • Assist with physical and cycle inventory counts; help locate and reconcile variances as directed.
  • Prepare outbound shipments with proper packaging and labeling; coordinate pickup arrangements with carriers under supervision.
  • Recognize electrical and electronic components, identify mislabeled, incorrect, or damaged parts, and report issues during receipt or kitting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and labeled warehouse environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment safely, following training and certification requirements.
  • Return unused or excess materials to stock, process material returns, and adjustments according to established procedures.
  • Keep receiving, staging, shipping, and storage areas free of obstructions; upscale safety or housekeeping issues promptly.
  • Support facility organization efforts, including equipment movement, setup, and waste disposal.
  • Accurately document transactions, inventory movements, and shipping records using systems like Wrike, Excel, or other designated platforms.
  • Follow documented procedures and flag any inconsistencies or gaps for ongoing improvement.
  • Perform additional related duties to support overall operations as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or materials handling within a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and basic problem-solving ability.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in counts, labels, and documentation.
  • Ability to follow directions, manage multiple tasks, and stay disciplined in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; willingness to learn systems like Quick Books, Wrike, ERP, or MRP.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing throughout shifts.
  • Willingness and ability to operate, or obtain certification in, forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious—adhering to PPE, lifting, and equipment operation requirements.
  • Optional but advantageous: familiarity with electrical/electronic components, prior experience with inventory management systems, forklift certification, and experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Must be able to work across multiple environments, including warehouses, production floors, and offices.
  • Willingness to travel between facilities and occasionally to customer sites.

Take initiative and bring your organizational skills to a team committed to operational excellence.
