We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher dedicated to inspiring students through visual arts while fostering creativity and academic growth.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned art lessons
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity
• Differentiate instruction to support students with varying learning styles and abilities
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development activities
• Uphold school policies and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Visual Arts (LX) Endorsement
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Experience integrating educational technology into daily instruction (Google Classroom, SMART Boards, educational apps, etc.)
