Medical Clerk Assistant

We are hiring a Medical Clerk Assistant to support daily medical operations within a correctional healthcare facility. This role is well suited for candidates with experience as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or in healthcare administration who are comfortable working in a structured, regulated environment.

• Organize and maintain medical charts, logs, and required documentation
• Enter and update daily data and reports
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and storage of medical supplies and medications
• Document medication intake, waste, and daily controlled counts
• Support nursing leadership with administrative tasks and meeting documentation
• Maintain policy binders and required compliance records
• Provide basic on-site technical support as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
