Summary DescriptionUnder general supervision of the manager for the specialty area, the RN will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide consultative nursing services within a urology clinic. The RN will act as a patient advocate, provide emotional support and home‑care instructions to patients and families, offer ongoing staff and community education, and support the implementation of outreach and outpatient programs.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan.
- Specialty certification from a professional organization preferred.
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in a specialty area.
- Two to three years of pediatric nursing experience, including one year in a specialty area, if in a pediatric setting (for positions requiring pediatric care).
- Pediatric acute care experience.
