Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Hamtramck, Michigan.
Shift & Compensation- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour on a staff schedule
- Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus, based on relevant experience
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Delegates, assesses, provides, and evaluates patient care.
- Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
- Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
- Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities.
- Manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families, applying independent judgment and collaborating with all team members, including ancillary and support services.
- Leads, partners, collaborates, teaches, and supervises as part of the DMC RN role.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required).
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (required).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
