Job Overview

Detroit Medical Center invites applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health located in Hamtramck, Michigan. The position requires an ongoing shift of 12 hours per week, totaling 36 hours weekly, and is classified as a staff employment type.

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
• Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision‑making activities.

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
• AHA BLS required.
