Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry – Detroit, Michigan.
Duration: Ongoing
Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour shift)
Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $25,000 based on experience
Job Summary Assumes shift responsibilities for the care delivery team. Coordinates staffing, prioritizes, delegates, and evaluates patient care. Facilitates process improvement, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports unit and hospital initiatives.
Responsibilities
Acts as lead and resource for nursing personnel; assists clinical manager with staff meetings and development.Monitors scheduling to assure adequate nurse‑patient ratio; reviews monthly schedule and communicates staffing changes.Facilitates shared decision‑making among staff and improves unit throughput to enhance LOS.Coordinates in‑service programs to maintain or enhance staff competence.Might assist manager with interview, selection, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.Participates in development of policies, procedures, and standards for the department.Assists with department process improvement and peer review.Qualifications
Associate’s Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.Registered Nurse license in Michigan.1–2 years of progressively responsible experience with demonstrated leadership.Ability to prioritize work, delegate, and facilitate processes.Minimum Level6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria (preferred for internal candidates).BLS required; ACLS preferred.Benefits
