Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Acute Care - $39-52 per hour

Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Long Term Acute Care in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Work Schedule & Compensation
  • Three 12‑hour shifts per week (7 am to 7 pm)
  • Hourly rate $38.64–$52.00 plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
  • Sign‑on bonus $15,000
Role Overview

Registered Nurse responsible for admissions, patient assessment, documentation, and ongoing clinical care within the Long Term Acute Care unit.

Responsibilities
  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment and diagnostic data such as labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

  • Clinical experience in acute or critical care
