Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Long Term Acute Care in Hamtramck, Michigan.
Work Schedule & Compensation- Three 12‑hour shifts per week (7 am to 7 pm)
- Hourly rate $38.64–$52.00 plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
- Sign‑on bonus $15,000
Registered Nurse responsible for admissions, patient assessment, documentation, and ongoing clinical care within the Long Term Acute Care unit.
Responsibilities- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data such as labs and telemetry
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
- Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events
- Instruct and counsel patients and families
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Clinical experience in acute or critical care
- Extensive RN orientation program
