Registered Nurse; RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in Hamtramck, Michigan. The position is a full‑time staff role with 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 36 hours per week. Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus is offered based on experience.

The RN is a member of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for leadership, partnership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision, ensuring the satisfactory completion of nursing care for a group of patients and their families.

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health‑care providers
• Delegates, assesses, provides, and evaluates patient care
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities

• Graduation from a school of nursing (required)
• BSN preferred
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan (required)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
