FSQA Compliance and Documentation Specialist
Onsite | Full-Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented FSQA Compliance & Documentation Specialist to support and maintain our food safety and quality programs across all facilities. This role ensures regulatory compliance, manages documentation systems, supports audits, and helps drive a culture of food safety throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Manages Food Safety Library, SSOP's, FSPs, and other regulatory related documentation for all company locations.
- Manages the plant's internal auditing program and ensures plant is always audit ready.
- Works with FSQA Director during 3rd Party certification and regulatory audits.
- Ensure timely corrections are made to all inspection observations and monitor effectiveness.
- Work with company consultants.
- Manage Supplier Approval Program using Trustwell platform.
- Participate in creating quality and regulatory training for all plant personnel.
- Contribute to annual FSP re-analysis for all facilities.
- Calibration and verification of various analytical instruments in support of monitoring activities
- Perform various analytical measurements in support of FSP/HACCP
- Perform direct observation or obtain assistance with direct observation
- Monitor GMPs and conduct daily pre-operational and operational audits
- Perform environmental monitoring program swabbing and sampling
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related field with 1-4 years' experience OR 4+ years' experience without a degree
- Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of quality regulations regarding HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP, SPS
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment, thermometers, weight scales, fat analyzer, and water activity meter
- HACCP, PCQI, or other relevant industry certifications
