Position: Project Manager - Water / Wastewater

We’re partnering with a full-service general contractor in the Greenville/Upstate SC area. This team specializes in delivering high-quality solutions for complex Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects, and is known for being hands-on, responsive, and client-focused.

The Role:

As a Lead Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing technically challenging projects from concept through completion. This includes managing client relationships, coordinating with owners, engineers, and trade partners, and directing project teams. Projects range from greenfield treatment facilities to upgrades and troubleshooting, requiring a proactive leader who thrives in technically complex environments.

  • Can lead the project team, including owners, designers, trade partners, and internal staff
  • Detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks and deadlines consistently
  • Able to identify issues early and solve complex problems without compromising design intent

Experience &

Skills:

  • Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; strong technical construction background required
  • 1–5 years of Project Management experience with a GC, ideally in Water/ Wastewater or Industrial
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer is helpful
  • Experience creating and managing project schedules, including critical path, and milestone tracking
  • Skilled in leading pull planning, coordinating trade partners, running OAC meetings,
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods across scopes of work
