Continuous Improvement Leader

As an entry-level Mechanical Engineer at ABB in our Florence, SC manufacturing facility, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services. This position will be a great growth opportunity for an ambitious candidate ready to dive in and learn about ABB and become a contributing, hyper-collaborative part of our Florence Manufacturing facility.

Onsite (#LI-Onsite) in Florence, SC.

• Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements.
• Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues.
• Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings.
• Coordinating technical support for the resolution of technical issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent or relevant) is required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience whether in an internship, university project, or combination of the two.
• Possesses a basic understanding of 3D Engineering Design software (preferably Auto Cad).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel);

• Ideal candidates are capable of being hyper‑collaborative with other business functions, an excellent and open communicator, and willing to drive for continuous improvement in assigned areas.
• Candidates must possess work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
