** Key Responsibilities*
* As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
+ Design & Development
+ Develop and analyze static and dynamic mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging designs.
+ Ensure designs meet all mechanical performance criteria, including load and vibration requirements.
+ Generate innovative solutions for new system designs and drive continuous improvement for existing systems.
+ Technical Expertise
+ Conduct feasibility studies, performance testing, and risk assessments for new and modified designs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer needs and project requirements.
+ Documentation & Collaboration
+ Provide critical design information to drafting teams for documentation.
+ Review detailed engineering drawings, ensuring specification compliance.
+ Support prototype fabrication and direct support personnel as needed throughout the design implementation process.

* ** Required
Education and Experience *
* + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
+ Two (2) or more years of professional experience in mechanical design.
+ Demonstrated design experience, including hands-on work with Solid Works.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
