Sr. Manager, Medical Coding

The Sr. Manager, Medical Coding is responsible for providing team oversight and client support for the growth and execution of medical coding services. The scope includes prioritizing tasks and organizing schedules for a team of medical coding professionals, and acting as the point of contact for assigned clients to ensure client expectations and needs are met.

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple teams, including ongoing monitoring of productivity, quality, and capacity to improve accuracy and compliance while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Shape communication with respective agencies and internal teams while monitoring volume changes, turnaround times, and client satisfaction.
• Strategize with the quality team to support ongoing quality programs, including internal and external audits, as well as identify trends and opportunities to implement and enhance training programs as needed.
• Manage services to ensure appropriate coding practices, regulatory, and contractual compliance while continuously monitoring staffing ratios to meet client timeline requirements.
• Provide relevant client metrics through accurate and up-to-date client dashboards.
• Determine resolution of complex issues with clients and internal teams.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 6-8 years relevant work experience
• At least 2-4 years relevant management work experience

• Home Health Coding Experience

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
• Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
• Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
