Starting at $24 plus shift differential (Non-Exempt employees working night shift hours. Hours are minimum of 7pm-5:30am)

Responsibilities- Use AWS D1.1 and D1.2 approved welding techniques to weld Aluminum and Steel components
- Read, interpret and fit to dimensions on detailed structural and pipe drawings
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation for job assignment(s)
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools as required
- Use fitting tools, including, but not limited to tape measure, square & angles, protractor degrees
- Complete and understand all necessary weld/machine setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Use safe work habits and adhere to all safety regulations and requirements
- Perform work in adherence with Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Maintain clean, organized safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards
- Adhere to all Quality Standards as responsible for quality of own work
- Perform other job duties as assigned
- Must have experience as a fitter
- Pass an in-house weld test
- Able to read (WPS) Welding Procedure Specifications
- Able to read & meet company welding parameters
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Welding Training Certificate AWS D1.1 preferred
- 2+ Years Fitting/Welding in Structural and/or Pipe applications
- Aluminum welding experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of welding processes and procedures
- Experience interpreting blueprints, operator instructions, and process documentation
Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Available to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Ability to stand and walk continuously (75% or more)
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, kneel, climb, and handle/manipulate frequently
- Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. frequently (25%-75%)
- Ability to push and pull 100 lbs. or more frequently (25%-75%)
- Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment for this position
