Mission

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Service Truck Driver in Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oil, grease, and fuel trucks and equipment.
  • Operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre‑trip inspection checklists on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Handle paperwork concerning Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). freight weigh bills, fuel tickets, and load tickets.
  • Carry out detailed instructions, take directions to job sites, use good judgement in decision‑making, and work without direct supervision.
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Driving License (required) along with a driving record that meets company safety guidelines to operate a company vehicle (required).
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Physical for a DOT Medical card (required).
  • Must adhere to all Department of Transportation  Reeves Construction Company safety regulations.
  • Must be able to work day or night shifts.
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
Physical Demands

  • Climb onto and off a vehicle several times a day.
  • Sit in a vehicle and operate it for several hours without stopping.
  • Withstand vibration from truck, road, and job site conditions as well as noise from the truck engine, other equipment, and other traffic.
  • Use arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions.
  • Perform light manual duties, such as sweeping debris and rocks out of the truck bed or trailer, handling tarpaulins, tailgate chains, binders, and binding chains.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
