Functions

To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.

• Wed‑Sat Days 5am‑5pm
• Starting Pay $19.15/hr

This position is responsible for washing tractor/trailer rigs and transporting rigs to and from the wash bay area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Receive training as required.
• Perform various positions as required or assigned.
• Clean and wash trailers to assure vehicle cleanliness.
• Use high‑pressure hoses as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Applicants will be considered for any Truck Washer opening.
• Must be able to read and write to complete all necessary documentation.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, and work in extreme heat, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
