Safety Coordinator, CA Hanford, CA

Safety Worxs is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional to support a large-scale heavy civil infrastructure project in Central California. This role requires a strong field presence and the ability to lead safety efforts in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Implement and enforce site‑specific safety programs in alignment with OSHA standards.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Monitor high‑risk activities (excavation, heavy equipment, lifting operations, etc.).
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with project leadership and subcontractors to reinforce safety expectations.

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• CHST, or CHSO certification or safety‑related college degree

• Strong communication and field leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced construction environment.
