Overview

Registered Nurse – Oncology needed for a travel assignment in Hanford, California. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 07/27/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
  • Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to implement care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case management, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain patient safety and provide education and support to patients and families as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Active RN license to practice in California.
  • Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week commitment.
  • Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to coordinate care in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a high-acuity oncology setting.
