Travel assignment at a healthcare facility in Hanford, CA
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety and provide education and support to patients and families as appropriate.
- Active RN license to practice in California.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week commitment.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to coordinate care in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a high-acuity oncology setting.
