Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
  • Assess patient condition, monitor hemodynamics and clinical status, administer medications as ordered, and titrate interventions as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for an assigned group of patients.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines.
  • Utilize critical thinking, clinical judgment, and independent decision-making to respond to changes in patient condition.
  • Document care accurately and maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Active RN license in California.
  • ICU/critical care experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts and work in a high-acuity ICU setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent problem‑solving ability.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
