Short-term acute care hospital - Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to clinical changes per evidence-based protocols
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans; coordinate with physicians, technicians, and other disciplines to achieve expected outcomes
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and support personnel, maintaining safe, efficient care delivery
- Educate patients and families, provide treatment education, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Document care accurately, maintain up-to-date records, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Licensure:
Current registered nurse (RN) license in California - Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Experience:
Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care experience - Certifications:
Current CPR/BLS; ACLS and PALS required (AHA or ARC equivalents accepted); BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be active - Vaccinations:
Compliance with vaccination requirements per organizational policy; medical or religious exemptions may apply - Competence:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced ER environment and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
