• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using clinical judgment and supervisory discretion
• Collect relevant data, analyze the assessment information, determine diagnoses and care issues; develop and implement a care plan with prescribed interventions to attain outcomes
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide health information and education to patients, families, and treatment team
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy; BLS required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum two years of recent Med Surg experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems (required for this assignment)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment; day shift schedule (7:00 AM-7:00 PM)
