Responsibilities
  • Provide general nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD)
  • Perform procedures requiring specialized training within the scope of practical nursing
  • Maintain asepsis and apply sterile techniques for treatments, dressings, and related care
  • Participate in planning and delivery of patient care plans
  • Provide functional direction to ancillary personnel as assigned
  • Adhere to established policies and demonstrate professional judgment in a fast‑paced care setting
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Ability to perform 12‑hour day shifts and work 36 hours per week
  • Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and work in a clinical care setting
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills necessary for supervision and collaboration with RN/MD staff
